Responsibilities
- Assist Journeyman Electricians with installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems.
- Learn to read and interpret blueprints and electrical schematics.
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections of electrical equipment.
- Ensure all work complies with local and national electrical codes (NEC).
- Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe at all times.
- Set up job sites, including laying out materials and tools.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation.
- Basic math skills for measuring and calculating.
- Physical stamina to stand, kneel, and lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs).
- Willingness to obtain required apprenticeship certification.
- Strong desire to learn and develop technical skills.
