As an Electrician Apprentice, you will work hand-in-hand with our certified journeyman electricians, gaining invaluable, hands-on experience in residential and commercial electrical projects. Responsibilities
- Assist Journeyman Electricians: Perform electrical installations, maintenance, and repairs under the direct supervision of experienced professionals.
- Read & Interpret Blueprints: Study electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and specifications to understand project requirements.
- Maintain Safety Standards: Strictly adhere to OSHA safety regulations, ensuring a hazard-free work environment for yourself and the team.
- Tools & Equipment: Maintain, clean, and use hand and power tools proficiently.
- Install Components: Wire outlets, switches, lighting fixtures, and panels according to local codes.
- Customer Interaction: Interact professionally with clients, answer questions, and ensure work areas are left clean.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.
- License: Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation are mandatory.
- Physical Ability: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, climb ladders, and work in various weather conditions.
- Math Skills: Basic understanding of math for measuring and calculating loads.
- Attitude: A strong desire to learn, problem-solving skills, and a commitment to safety.
- Availability: Must be available for full-time shifts, including weekends and potential overtime.
