Responsibilities
- Assist senior electricians with residential and commercial electrical installations and repairs.
- Learn to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
- Perform basic electrical tasks such as stripping wire, connecting outlets, mounting fixtures, and pulling cable.
- Ensure all work complies with OSHA safety standards and local electrical codes.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site at all times.
- Use hand and power tools safely and effectively under supervision.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Willingness to learn new skills and work in various weather conditions.
- Physical stamina to stand, kneel, bend, and lift heavy materials (up to 50 lbs) regularly.
- Basic math skills for measurements and material calculations.
- Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation to job sites.
- Ability to obtain a North Carolina Electrical License once certified.
