Responsibilities
- Assist Journeyman Electricians: Learn to perform residential and commercial electrical installations, repairs, and maintenance under supervision.
- Tools & Equipment: Learn to identify, use, and maintain basic electrical tools, test meters, and safety equipment.
- Blueprint Reading: Study and interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams to understand project requirements.
- Site Preparation: Prepare job sites by gathering materials, clearing debris, and ensuring work areas are safe and organized.
- Safety Compliance: Strictly adhere to all OSHA safety regulations, lock-out/tag-out procedures, and company safety protocols.
- Customer Service: Interact professionally with clients, answer basic questions, and ensure work areas are left clean.
- Wire & Cable Management: Assist in pulling wire, stripping insulation, and terminating connections.
Qualifications
- Willingness to Learn: No formal experience required; we value attitude and aptitude over background.
- Education: High school diploma or GED is preferred.
- Driver’s License: Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are required.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, climb ladders, and work in various weather conditions.
- Basic Math: Comfort with basic arithmetic for measuring and calculating material needs.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on safety and precision in work execution.
- Availability: Must be available for full-time shifts, including weekends and overtime as needed.
