Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, devices, and wiring.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams.
- Ensure all work complies with local and national electrical codes (NEC).
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections on electrical panels and circuits.
- Collaborate with project managers and other tradespeople to ensure project timelines are met.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot complex electrical issues efficiently.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Journeyman Electrician License in the state of Virginia.
- Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in commercial and residential electrical work.
- Strong knowledge of electrical theory, circuitry, and power distribution.
- Ability to read and understand electrical blueprints.
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation.
- Physical stamina to stand, bend, and lift heavy equipment regularly.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
