Responsibilities
- Assist Journeyman Electricians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in residential and commercial settings.
- Learn to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
- Perform routine inspections of electrical components and systems to ensure compliance with safety codes.
- Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment from delivery vehicles.
- Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of hazards at all times.
- Assist in pulling wire, installing outlets, switches, and lighting fixtures.
- Communicate effectively with clients and team members regarding project status.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED is preferred but not strictly required.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are required.
- Physically fit with the ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions.
- Basic math skills (fractions, decimals) are a plus.
- Must possess a strong willingness to learn and a good work ethic.
