Responsibilities
- Assist Journeyman Electricians with installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems.
- Learn to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
- Perform basic electrical tasks such as stripping wire, bending conduit, and connecting fixtures.
- Maintain a clean and organized job site in compliance with safety regulations.
- Set up and operate basic hand tools and power tools under supervision.
- Ensure all work complies with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and local building codes.
- Transport tools and materials to job sites efficiently.
Qualifications
- No prior electrical experience required; willingness to learn is essential.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Basic understanding of mathematics (addition, subtraction, multiplication).
- Valid Driver’s License and a clean driving record.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Good physical stamina and dexterity.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
