Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance, repairs, and installations on electrical systems, including wiring, lighting, and power distribution.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to ensure accurate work.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot complex electrical issues efficiently and safely.
- Ensure all work complies with local, state, and national electrical codes (NEC).
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all OSHA safety standards.
- Collaborate with the project manager and lead electricians to meet project deadlines.
- Document all work performed and report material usage accurately.
Qualifications
- Certified Journeyman Electrician license (State of Illinois) or equivalent.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of professional experience in commercial or industrial electrical work.
- Proven ability to work effectively during weekend shifts and holidays.
- Strong knowledge of electrical theory, circuitry, and power systems.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to lift heavy materials and work in various weather conditions.
