Responsibilities
- Assist journeyman electricians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of residential and commercial electrical systems.
- Learn to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including daily tool organization.
- Adhere strictly to all local, state, and national electrical codes (NEC) and safety regulations.
- Perform basic electrical troubleshooting and testing using multimeters and diagnostic equipment.
- Communicate effectively with team members and clients to ensure project requirements are met.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation.
- Willingness to work in various weather conditions and at heights (climbing ladders/scaffolding).
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations.
- Physical ability to lift heavy materials and stand for extended periods.
- Strong desire to learn and obtain an Electrical Journeyman license.
