Responsibilities
- Assist Journeymen with electrical installations, maintenance, and repairs in residential and commercial settings.
- Read and interpret basic electrical blueprints and schematics.
- Perform routine safety checks and maintain a clean, organized workspace.
- Operate power tools, hand tools, and test equipment under supervision.
- Install and connect wiring, outlets, switches, and lighting fixtures.
- Follow all local and national electrical codes and safety regulations strictly.
- Communicate progress to supervisors and collaborate effectively with the team.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions.
- Basic math skills for reading measurements and calculating loads.
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation.
- Strong willingness to learn and work hard.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
