Responsibilities
- Assist journeyman electricians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of residential and commercial electrical systems.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to understand project requirements.
- Ensure all work complies with local, state, and national electrical codes and safety regulations.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including organizing tools and materials.
- Test electrical systems to ensure they are functioning correctly and safely.
- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on equipment.
- Communicate effectively with clients and team members regarding project progress.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation.
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, and lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) for extended periods.
- Basic math skills for measuring and calculating material requirements.
- Willingness to learn and adhere to strict safety protocols.
- No prior experience is necessary; we provide training!
- Must be willing to work in various weather conditions.
