Responsibilities
- Assist senior electricians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of residential and commercial electrical systems.
- Perform routine inspections and testing of electrical components to ensure safety and functionality.
- Read and interpret basic electrical blueprints and wiring diagrams.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site in strict accordance with OSHA standards.
- Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment from delivery trucks.
- Use hand tools, power tools, and measuring devices accurately.
- Learn and demonstrate proper grounding and bonding techniques.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent is required.
- Must be willing to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation required.
- Basic math skills for measuring and cutting materials.
- Strong desire to learn the electrical trade and a commitment to safety.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
