Responsibilities
- Assist journeyman electricians in the installation, maintenance, and repair of residential and commercial electrical systems.
- Perform basic wiring tasks under supervision, including pulling wire, stripping, and terminating connections.
- Ensure all work areas remain clean, organized, and compliant with OSHA safety standards.
- Read and interpret basic blueprints and schematics to understand project layouts.
- Utilize hand and power tools safely and effectively to complete assigned tasks.
- Respond to service calls and complete jobs within established timeframes.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED preferred; trade school certification is a plus but not required.
- Must be willing to obtain required electrical licensing and certifications upon hiring.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation are mandatory.
- Ability to work in various environments, including heights, attics, and confined crawl spaces.
- Physical stamina to lift 50+ lbs and work on feet for extended periods.
