Responsibilities
- Assist journeyman electricians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and components.
- Learn to read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals.
- Install and terminate conduits, wires, cables, and electrical boxes according to safety codes.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring all tools and equipment are properly stored.
- Perform routine inspections to identify potential hazards and report them to the supervisor.
- Handle basic material handling and delivery tasks as needed.
Qualifications
- No prior experience or formal training is required; we provide the training.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
- Physical ability to lift heavy materials (up to 50 lbs) and work in various weather conditions.
- Basic math skills and mechanical aptitude.
