Responsibilities
- Assist Journeyman Electricians: Support senior technicians with electrical installations, repairs, and maintenance projects.
- Blueprint Reading: Learn to interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams under supervision.
- Tool Management: Properly utilize hand and power tools, measuring devices, and testing equipment.
- Worksite Safety: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with OSHA standards.
- Basic Troubleshooting: Help identify and resolve common electrical faults and circuit issues.
- Customer Service: Interact professionally with clients and ensure project expectations are met.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED preferred; technical training is a plus but not required.
- Driver's License: Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift 50+ lbs, stand for extended periods, and work in various weather conditions.
- Math Skills: Basic understanding of fractions and measurements.
- Soft Skills: Strong work ethic, reliability, and excellent problem-solving abilities.
- Availability: Must be available for full-time shifts and occasional overtime.
