Responsibilities
- Assist licensed electricians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in commercial and industrial settings.
- Perform basic wiring tasks, terminal connections, and conduit bending under supervision.
- Read and interpret basic blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
- Inspect electrical components and troubleshoot minor issues using diagnostic tools.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring all safety protocols are followed at all times.
- Transport materials and tools to and from job sites as required.
- Document work completed and report any safety hazards immediately.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.
- A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Basic math skills and the ability to read measurements.
- Physically fit and able to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and work in various weather conditions.
- Strong desire to learn and a commitment to safety.
- Willingness to obtain required state certifications and licensure during the apprenticeship.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
