Responsibilities
- Assist Journeyman Electricians: Support senior team members with residential and commercial wiring installations and repairs.
- Material Handling: Transport and organize tools, wires, conduits, and electrical components safely on job sites.
- Site Preparation: Help prepare job sites by digging trenches, drilling holes, and ensuring work areas are clean and organized.
- Testing & Verification: Assist in testing circuits and systems to ensure they meet safety codes and operational standards.
- Blueprint Reading: Begin learning to interpret electrical blueprints and schematics under supervision.
- Customer Interaction: Interact professionally with clients, answer questions, and maintain a professional appearance on site.
Qualifications
- No Experience Required: We are willing to train the right candidate from scratch.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and work in various weather conditions.
- Valid Driver’s License: Must have a clean driving record and reliable transportation.
- Basic Math Skills: Comfortable with measurements, fractions, and basic calculations.
- Team Player: Strong work ethic and willingness to learn from experienced professionals.
- High School Diploma: General equivalency diploma (GED) preferred.
