Responsibilities
- Assist journeyman electricians with installation, maintenance, and repair of residential and commercial electrical systems.
- Perform routine cleaning and organization of job sites and tools to maintain high safety standards.
- Learn to read and interpret basic electrical blueprints and schematics under supervision.
- Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment as directed by senior staff.
- Maintain a safe and clean working environment by strictly adhering to all OSHA safety regulations.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
- No prior experience or formal electrical training required.
- Strong desire to learn and obtain an Electrician's license within a reasonable timeframe.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) repeatedly.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to job sites.
