What You'll Do:
As an apprentice, you will work under the direct supervision of our certified journeymen, assisting with a wide variety of electrical tasks and learning the trade from the ground up.
Responsibilities
- Assist journeyman electricians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems.
- Learn to pull wire, terminate circuits, and install outlets, switches, and lighting fixtures.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with OSHA standards.
- Perform basic maintenance on tools and equipment.
- Document work completed and report any safety hazards or issues immediately.
- Transport materials and tools to and from job sites.
Qualifications
- No prior experience required; we provide comprehensive paid training.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Must be physically able to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions.
- Basic math skills and the ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
- Must pass a background check and drug screening.
- Willingness to obtain required apprenticeship certifications.
