Responsibilities
- Assist journeyman electricians with residential and commercial electrical installations and repairs.
- Perform basic tasks such as pulling wire, terminating outlets, and installing light fixtures and switches.
- Read and interpret basic electrical blueprints and schematics under supervision.
- Ensure all work areas are clean, organized, and comply with safety regulations.
- Utilize power tools and testing equipment (like multimeters) responsibly.
- Follow all local and national electrical codes (NEC) and safety protocols.
- Communicate effectively with clients and team members regarding project status.
Qualifications
- No prior experience is required. A strong willingness to learn is the only prerequisite.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation to job sites.
- Ability to work in various weather conditions and climb ladders safely.
- Strong physical stamina to stand, bend, kneel, and lift heavy materials (up to 50 lbs) for extended periods.
- Basic math skills for measuring and calculating material requirements.
