Responsibilities
- Assist journeyman electricians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of residential and commercial electrical systems.
- Prepare job sites by organizing tools, materials, and blueprints according to project specifications.
- Learn and strictly adhere to all local and national electrical codes (NEC) and company safety protocols.
- Perform basic troubleshooting and testing of electrical circuits and components.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment at all times.
- Communicate effectively with customers regarding job progress and any necessary updates.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED is preferred but not mandatory for the right candidate.
- No prior experience required; we are looking for candidates eager to learn the trade.
- Must possess the physical stamina to lift heavy materials (up to 50 lbs) and work in various weather conditions.
- Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record are required for field travel.
- Basic math skills and the ability to read simple schematics or diagrams.
- Strong work ethic, punctuality, and a commitment to safety.
