Responsibilities
- Assist Journeyman Electricians: Support senior technicians with installation, repair, and maintenance of electrical systems in residential and commercial settings.
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and organize electrical materials, tools, and equipment safely and efficiently.
- Site Preparation: Prepare job sites by setting up ladders, scaffolding, and protecting work areas.
- System Testing: Assist in testing and troubleshooting electrical circuits and systems under supervision.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to all OSHA safety regulations and company protocols to maintain a safe working environment.
- Documentation: Help complete daily logs, inspection reports, and paperwork accurately.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED preferred; trade school background is a plus but not required.
- Experience: No prior experience required. A strong willingness to learn and a "can-do" attitude are essential.
- Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for long periods, and work in various weather conditions.
- Driver's License: Valid driver's license and a clean driving record required for site travel.
- Soft Skills: Good communication skills, reliability, and the ability to work well in a team.
