Responsibilities
- Assist journeyman electricians with residential and commercial wiring projects.
- Pull wire through conduits and install outlets, switches, and fixtures.
- Maintain a clean and organized job site, adhering to OSHA safety standards.
- Read and interpret basic blueprints and schematics.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on electrical systems.
- Transport tools and materials to and from job sites.
- Assist in testing electrical systems to ensure compliance with local codes.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions.
- Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, fractions).
- Strong desire to learn and a mechanical aptitude.
- Previous electrical experience is NOT required. We value attitude and work ethic over past experience.
