Responsibilities
- Assist journeyman electricians with residential and commercial installation, repair, and maintenance tasks.
- Learn to read and interpret blueprints and electrical schematics under supervision.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment at all job sites.
- Transport tools and materials to and from job sites as directed.
- Perform basic troubleshooting and diagnostic tasks to support senior electricians.
- Ensure strict adherence to all local and national electrical codes and safety regulations.
Qualifications
- No prior experience required – a strong willingness to learn is the only prerequisite.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation are required.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Basic math skills for measuring and calculating materials.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and a professional work ethic.
