Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures using appropriate tools and equipment.
- Inspect electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards, defects, and the need for adjustment or repair.
- Ensure strict adherence to all local and national electrical codes and safety regulations.
- Perform routine maintenance checks on electrical systems to prevent failures.
- Diagnose malfunctioning systems, installations, or equipment, and perform corrective action.
- Prepare and submit work orders for completion and approval.
- Communicate effectively with clients regarding project timelines and electrical needs.
Qualifications
- Valid Journeyman Electrician license or equivalent apprenticeship completion.
- Current state of New Mexico Electrical License.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, and safety standards (NEC).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Reliable transportation and valid driver's license.
