Responsibilities
- Assist Journeyman electricians with the installation, repair, and maintenance of electrical systems.
- Perform basic electrical tasks such as pulling wire, stripping insulation, and terminating connections.
- Read and interpret basic blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
- Keep job sites clean, organized, and free of safety hazards.
- Use hand and power tools correctly and safely at all times.
- Ensure all work complies with local and national electrical codes (NEC).
- Transport materials and equipment to and from job sites as needed.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to work in various environments, including confined spaces and outdoors.
- Physical ability to lift 50+ pounds, stand for extended periods, and work on ladders.
- High school diploma or GED is preferred but not strictly required for this entry-level position.
- Strong desire to learn and a commitment to safety.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
