Responsibilities
- Assist Senior Technicians: Shadow and support Journeyman electricians on residential and commercial job sites.
- Prepare Work Areas: Set up scaffolding, organize tools, and ensure a clean, safe workspace before and after shifts.
- Material Handling: Transport, unload, and organize electrical materials, conduits, and wire spools.
- Installation Support: Help with pulling wire, installing outlets, switches, lighting fixtures, and basic circuit testing.
- Blueprint Reading: Learn to interpret electrical schematics and blueprints under supervision.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company protocols on every job site.
Qualifications
- No Experience Required: A strong desire to learn the electrical trade is the only prerequisite.
- High School Diploma: Or equivalent GED. Basic math skills are required.
- Valid Driver’s License: Must have a clean driving record and a reliable vehicle for daily travel.
- Physical Stamina: Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for long periods, and work in various weather conditions.
- Manual Dexterity: Good hand-eye coordination and attention to detail.
- Communication Skills: Ability to follow instructions and communicate effectively with the team.
