Responsibilities
- Assist journeyman electricians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of residential and commercial electrical systems.
- Prepare job sites by gathering tools, materials, and equipment.
- Organize and maintain a clean, safe, and hazard-free work environment.
- Learn to read and interpret blueprints and electrical schematics under supervision.
- Perform basic wiring tasks, conduit bending, and terminal connections.
- Ensure all work strictly adheres to local and national electrical codes (NEC).
- Document work completed and report any safety concerns immediately.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable personal transportation.
- Ability to work in various weather conditions and climb ladders safely.
- Basic math skills for measuring, cutting, and calculating material needs.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Physical stamina to stand, bend, kneel, and lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Must pass a background check and drug screen.
