At Apex Electrical Solutions, we believe in training the next generation of master electricians. You will work under the supervision of certified journeymen while gaining hands-on experience in residential and commercial settings.
Responsibilities
- Assist Journeymen: Support senior electricians with installation, maintenance, and repair tasks on various job sites.
- Tools & Safety: Maintain a clean workspace and adhere strictly to all safety protocols and OSHA regulations.
- Reading Blueprints: Learn to interpret electrical diagrams, schematics, and blueprints to understand project requirements.
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and organize materials and equipment at job sites efficiently.
- Site Prep: Prepare job sites by setting up ladders, scaffolding, and safety barriers.
- Testing & Troubleshooting: Assist in basic testing of circuits and troubleshooting simple electrical issues.
Qualifications
- No Experience Required: Open to motivated candidates with no formal training or previous work history.
- Education: High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and work in various weather conditions.
- Driver's License: Valid driver's license and clean driving record required for site travel.
- Interests: Genuine interest in the electrical trade and willingness to pursue an apprenticeship program.
