Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, fixtures, and control equipment in residential and commercial buildings.
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and schematic diagrams to plan project layouts.
- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on electrical systems to ensure safety and compliance.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical faults using testing equipment such as multimeters and circuit testers.
- Ensure all work meets local, state, and national electrical codes (NEC).
- Communicate effectively with customers and team members regarding project status and requirements.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record.
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor, including lifting heavy materials and working in various weather conditions.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Willingness to undergo background checks and drug screenings.
