Responsibilities
- Assist senior electricians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of residential and commercial electrical systems.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams under supervision.
- Perform basic wiring tasks, including running conduit and terminating wiring.
- Ensure all work complies with local and national electrical codes (NEC).
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all safety protocols and OSHA regulations.
- Communicate effectively with customers regarding job status and requirements.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
- Experience: No prior experience required. A strong willingness to learn and a mechanical aptitude are essential.
- License: Valid Driver’s License and a clean driving record required.
- Physical Requirements: Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs, work in various weather conditions, and stand for extended periods.
- Availability: Must be available to work full-time hours, including some weekends and potential overtime.
- Tools: Basic hand tools are a plus, but not mandatory for entry.
