We are seeking a driven and motivated Electrician Apprentice to join our dynamic team. As part of our weekend shift crew, you will work with seasoned journeymen to maintain and upgrade our local infrastructure. We offer comprehensive on-the-job training and a clear pathway to journeyman certification.
Responsibilities
- Assist journeyman electricians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and components.
- Prepare work areas by laying out materials, tools, and equipment as directed.
- Install and terminate wiring, conduits, and fixtures under supervision.
- Perform routine maintenance checks on electrical panels and equipment to ensure safety compliance.
- Ensure all work areas are kept clean, organized, and free of hazards.
- Respond to emergency calls and service requests with a professional and calm demeanor.
Qualifications
- No Experience Required: We welcome candidates with zero prior electrical experience who are willing to learn.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Physical stamina to lift 50+ lbs and work in various weather conditions.
- Basic math skills and the ability to read basic measurements.
- Strong work ethic and reliability.
