Responsibilities
- Assist journeyman electricians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in residential and commercial properties.
- Perform routine inspections and safety checks on electrical equipment to ensure compliance with local codes.
- Prepare work areas by gathering tools, materials, and blueprints as directed.
- Install, repair, and replace lighting fixtures, switches, and outlets.
- Identify and troubleshoot basic electrical issues under supervision.
- Maintain a clean and organized job site, adhering to all safety protocols and OSHA regulations.
Qualifications
- Age Requirement: Must be at least 18 years old.
- Driver’s License: Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are required.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and work in various weather conditions.
- Education: High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Attitude: Strong willingness to learn, safety-conscious, and detail-oriented.
- Availability: Must be available to work weekends (Friday through Sunday).
