Responsibilities
- Assist Journeyman Electricians with electrical installations, repairs, and maintenance tasks.
- Learn to read and interpret basic blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
- Prepare work areas by gathering materials, tools, and equipment.
- Ensure all work is performed in strict accordance with local and national electrical codes (NEC).
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment at all times.
- Perform routine inspections of electrical systems to identify potential hazards or defects.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age and possess a valid driver’s license.
- Basic math skills and the ability to read a tape measure are required.
- Willingness to work in various weather conditions and climb ladders or scaffolding.
- Ability to lift heavy objects and stand for extended periods.
- No prior electrical experience is required; a strong willingness to learn is essential.
- Must pass a background check and drug screen.
