Responsibilities
- Assist journeyman electricians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and equipment.
- Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment from delivery trucks to job sites.
- Prepare work areas by digging trenches, drilling holes, or setting poles for wiring runs.
- Study blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to understand project requirements.
- Perform basic wiring tasks and terminal connections under strict supervision.
- Ensure all work sites are clean, safe, and organized in compliance with OSHA standards.
- Transport tools and supplies between job sites as directed.
Qualifications
- No prior experience or licensure required; a strong willingness to learn is essential.
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record.
- Basic understanding of mathematics (fractions, decimals) is preferred.
- Physically capable of standing, kneeling, bending, and lifting up to 50 lbs regularly.
- Willingness to work in various weather conditions and on job sites at heights.
