Responsibilities
- Assist senior electricians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of residential and commercial electrical systems.
- Learn to interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams accurately.
- Perform basic wiring tasks, including pulling wire, stripping insulation, and terminating connections.
- Ensure all work adheres to OSHA safety standards and local electrical codes.
- Maintain a clean and organized job site, and properly care for tools and equipment.
- Load and unload materials from trucks and assist in material inventory management.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Valid Driver’s License and a clean driving record.
- Basic math skills for measuring and calculating material requirements.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and climb ladders.
- Strong physical stamina to lift up to 50 lbs and work on feet for extended periods.
- Willingness to obtain required apprenticeship certifications upon hire.
