Responsibilities
- Assist Journeyman Electricians with installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems.
- Learn to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
- Perform basic electrical tasks including stripping wire, terminating conduit, and mounting fixtures.
- Ensure all work complies with local, state, and National Electrical Code (NEC) regulations.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by organizing tools and materials.
- Communicate effectively with team members and clients regarding job progress and issues.
- Complete required safety training and documentation on a regular basis.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation.
- Basic understanding of mathematics and ability to use measuring tools.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and work in various weather conditions.
- Strong desire to learn the electrical trade and a commitment to safety.
- Valid Texas Driver’s License is preferred.
