Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, fixtures, and control systems according to local and national electrical codes.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to determine layout.
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on electrical equipment to ensure safety and functionality.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot complex electrical issues efficiently.
- Ensure all work complies with OSHA safety standards and company policies.
- Collaborate with project managers and other tradespeople to ensure seamless project execution.
- Keep accurate records of work performed and materials used.
Qualifications
- Valid Journeyman Electrician License required (Master License preferred).
- Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in commercial and industrial electrical work.
- Strong knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and local building codes.
- Proficiency in reading electrical blueprints and technical drawings.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation.
- Physical stamina to work in various weather conditions and stand for extended periods.
