Responsibilities
- Assist Journeyman Electricians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and equipment.
- Learn to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
- Perform basic electrical tasks including pulling wire, stripping cable, and mounting junction boxes.
- Ensure all work areas are clean, organized, and compliant with local and national safety codes (OSHA).
- Transport tools and materials to job sites safely and efficiently.
- Document daily work progress and report any safety hazards immediately.
Qualifications
- No prior experience required; entry-level candidates are encouraged to apply.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation to job sites.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various environments (climbing ladders, confined spaces, outdoor weather).
- Basic math skills and mechanical aptitude.
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Willingness to obtain required state certifications as training progresses.
