Responsibilities
- Assist Journeyman Electricians: Support senior staff in residential and commercial wiring installations, troubleshooting, and maintenance projects.
- Read Blueprints: Learn to interpret electrical blueprints and schematics to understand circuit layouts.
- Tool Management: Maintain and organize electrical tools and equipment to ensure safety and efficiency.
- Site Preparation: Prepare job sites by setting up ladders, scaffolding, and temporary power sources.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to OSHA safety standards and company protocols at all times.
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and verify the quantity of electrical materials needed for projects.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
- Experience: No prior experience required. We value a strong work ethic and a willingness to learn over specific technical history.
- Physical Requirements: Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and work in various weather conditions.
- Driver's License: Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation are required.
- Math Skills: Basic proficiency in mathematics is a plus.
- Availability: Must be available for full-time shifts, including weekends and potential overtime during peak seasons.
