While prior experience is preferred, we are primarily seeking candidates with a strong work ethic and a desire to succeed. We provide on-the-job training, mentorship from certified journeymen, and a clear path to journeyman certification.
Responsibilities
- Assist Senior Electricians: Support licensed professionals with installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems.
- Material Handling: Transport and organize tools, wire, and equipment safely and efficiently.
- Site Maintenance: Keep work areas clean, organized, and compliant with safety regulations.
- Reading Schematics: Learn to interpret blueprints and electrical diagrams under supervision.
- Testing: Help with basic voltage testing and troubleshooting of circuits.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED preferred (or enrollment in trade school).
- Driver's License: Valid driver's license and clean driving record required.
- Physical Fitness: Ability to lift 50+ lbs, stand for extended periods, and work in various weather conditions.
- Reliability: Punctual, responsible, and willing to follow safety protocols.
- Communication: Basic reading and verbal communication skills.
