Job Summary
The Journeyman Electrician will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems. You will interpret blueprints, adhere to strict safety codes, and deliver exceptional results for our clients.
Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, including wiring, lighting, and control systems.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately.
- Ensure all work complies with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and local building regulations.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot complex electrical issues efficiently to minimize downtime.
- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on electrical equipment.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized job site, strictly adhering to OSHA safety standards.
- Collaborate with project managers and apprentices to ensure timely project completion.
Qualifications
- Valid Journeyman Electrician License in the state of Colorado.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of hands-on experience in commercial and residential electrical work.
- Strong working knowledge of electrical theory, circuitry, and power distribution.
- Ability to read and understand electrical schematics and blueprints.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Current OSHA 10 or 30 Hour Construction Safety Certification preferred.
- Physical ability to lift heavy loads (up to 50 lbs), climb ladders, and work in various weather conditions.
