Responsibilities
- Assist Senior Electricians: Shadow and support licensed electricians on residential and commercial job sites to learn installation, repair, and maintenance procedures.
- Tool Management: Maintain, organize, and transport electrical tools and equipment safely and efficiently.
- Material Handling: Receive, count, and store electrical materials and supplies; assist in inventory control.
- Site Preparation: Prepare job sites by setting up ladders, scaffolding, and ensuring safety zones are established.
- Basic Installation: Perform basic wiring tasks, fixture mounting, and outlet installation under supervision.
- Blueprint Reading: Learn to interpret basic electrical blueprints and schematic diagrams.
- Customer Service: Interact professionally with homeowners and clients, maintaining a clean and respectful workspace.
Qualifications
- Willingness to Learn: No prior electrical experience is necessary; we provide the training.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, climb ladders, and lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the day.
- Driver's License: A valid driver's license and clean driving record are required for job site travel.
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
- Basic Math Skills: Comfort with basic arithmetic for measuring and calculating materials.
- Attention to Detail: Ability to follow instructions precisely and adhere to safety regulations.
- Availability: Must be available for full-time work, including weekends and evenings as needed.
