Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, devices, and fixtures in residential and commercial settings.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to determine the layout of wiring and equipment.
- Ensure all work complies with local, state, and national electrical codes and safety regulations.
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance to identify potential issues before they become major problems.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot complex electrical malfunctions efficiently.
- Collaborate with project managers and other tradespeople to ensure project timelines are met.
- Provide exceptional customer service and clearly explain technical information to clients.
Qualifications
- Valid Journeyman Electrician License (State of California) required.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of proven experience in commercial and residential electrical work.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, circuitry, and NEC codes.
- Ability to read and understand electrical blueprints and schematics.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to lift heavy materials and work in various environments, including attics, crawl spaces, and heights.
- Must possess a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
