Responsibilities
- Assist journeyman electricians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of residential and commercial electrical systems.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams to plan project layouts.
- Perform routine safety inspections and ensure all work complies with local and national electrical codes.
- Install and connect wiring, lighting fixtures, outlets, and other electrical components.
- Keep accurate records of time worked, materials used, and job progress.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring all tools are stored safely.
- Learn and utilize various hand and power tools correctly and safely.
Qualifications
- No Experience Required: We are looking for motivated individuals regardless of background.
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation.
- Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and work in various weather conditions.
- Basic math skills and mechanical aptitude.
- Must be detail-oriented and possess a strong commitment to safety standards.
- Willingness to obtain required state certifications during the apprenticeship.
