Responsibilities
- Assist Journeyman Electricians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in residential and commercial settings.
- Learn to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams.
- Perform basic electrical tasks including pulling wire, stripping wire, installing outlets and switches, and mounting fixtures.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to all OSHA safety regulations and company protocols.
- Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment from company vehicles.
- Develop skills in troubleshooting electrical faults and understanding circuitry.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- No prior experience or trade school education required; we provide on-the-job training.
- Must be physically able to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for long periods, and work in various weather conditions.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.
- Basic math skills and ability to use hand tools are a plus.
- Strong desire to learn and a commitment to safety.
