As an Apprentice, you will work alongside certified Journeymen and Master Electricians, gaining hands-on experience on residential and commercial projects across Houston. We offer competitive pay, comprehensive training, and a clear pathway to journeyman certification.
Responsibilities
- Assist journeyman electricians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems.
- Prepare job sites by gathering tools, materials, and ensuring a clean, safe workspace.
- Learn to read and interpret basic blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
- Perform routine inspections and basic troubleshooting under direct supervision.
- Ensure all work complies with local, state, and national electrical codes.
- Communicate effectively with the team and report progress to supervisors.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies at all times.
Qualifications
- No experience required – we are looking for eager, hardworking candidates willing to learn.
- Must be at least 18 years of age and possess a valid driver’s license.
- Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screening.
- Physically fit to perform manual labor, including lifting heavy equipment and working in various weather conditions.
- Basic math skills and mechanical aptitude are a strong plus.
- Reliable transportation to and from job sites.
