Responsibilities
- Install, repair, and maintain complex plumbing systems in residential and commercial properties
- Lead emergency response teams for urgent plumbing failures and water damage incidents
- Perform advanced diagnostics using video inspection equipment and thermal imaging
- Ensure all work complies with DC plumbing codes and safety regulations
- Mentor junior plumbers and apprentices on best practices
- Manage inventory and coordinate supply deliveries for multiple job sites
- Develop client relationships through exceptional service and reliability
- Prepare detailed service reports and project documentation
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of professional plumbing experience with 2+ years in commercial settings
- Valid DC Master Plumber license (PL-005)
- Proven expertise in backflow prevention systems and water conservation technologies
- OSHA 30-hour certification and confined space training
- Advanced knowledge of blueprints, schematics, and building codes
- Clean driving record and valid Class C driver's license
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in physically demanding environments
- Strong problem-solving skills and crisis management abilities
