Responsibilities
- Assist journeymen electricians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems, fixtures, and equipment.
- Perform basic wiring tasks, including stripping, bending, and connecting wires.
- Utilize hand and power tools to complete tasks accurately and efficiently.
- Follow blueprints and schematic drawings to understand project requirements.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to all OSHA safety regulations.
- Load and unload materials and tools from company vehicles as needed.
- Communicate effectively with the team to ensure project timelines are met.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED is preferred but not mandatory for the right candidate.
- Must be willing to undergo a background check and drug screening.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions (outdoor work).
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required.
- Strong desire to learn the electrical trade and obtain journeyman certification.
- Basic math skills for reading measurements and calculating materials.
- Must be available to work weekend shifts consistently.
