Responsibilities
- Assist Journeyman electricians with residential and commercial electrical installations.
- Perform basic wiring, mounting outlets, switches, and lighting fixtures.
- Identify and troubleshoot basic electrical issues under supervision.
- Read and interpret simple blueprints and electrical schematics.
- Ensure all work areas are clean, organized, and adhere to safety regulations (OSHA).
- Transport tools and materials to job sites as needed.
- Complete daily logs and report progress to supervisors.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED (preferred but not mandatory).
- Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions.
- Strong willingness to learn and follow safety protocols.
- Basic math skills for measuring and cutting materials.
- No prior experience required; on-the-job training provided.
